  • Design activities: For the great majority of professions, it is essential to include design activities in this section of the career episodes. This should be the major topic, and it is advised that you include 5-7 paragraphs about the design and calculations that go along with it.

The following general items should be mentioned:

  • Standards you used in your work, including standard numbers where appropriate.

  • Working as part of the team—meetings you had with your colleagues, stakeholders, etc.

  • Reports and presentations: What reports have you written during the project?

  • Reference to budget-related decisions, such as reducing the project cost or choosing the suppliers (if relevant)

  • Contentious learning and training—any official training provided by the company or training outside of work; reference books and articles (especially important for a final year university project);

In your career episode, you should ideally include a paragraph outlining each of these activities. Even though not all three of your career episodes must address the above-mentioned obligations, all of your career episodes should collectively address them.

  • SUMMARY STATEMENT

 A summary should be between 50 and 150 words long and include your thoughts on the project as a whole, how it accomplished its objectives and specifications, and how your individual contribution influenced the project.
